Blogs > It's Time To Take A Stand

Being a business theatre producer has allowed Brian the opportunity to meet and work with some very fascinating people from a variety of backgrounds which, in turn, has helped shape his knowledge and his opinions. His blog will not always be political, it will be about a lifetime of subjects, and nothing is off limits. “Few people have original thoughts, we are shaped by the people we know and meet” he says.

Obama's Immigration Agenda

Shame, shame, shame. I heard today that the Obama Administration, through the inJustice Department, filed a lawsuit against the State of Arizona's sb1070.

I find this action to be completely unacceptable of the Federal Government. This is an absolute waste of taxpayers money. If this doesn't bring down this administration, we all deserve what we are in for next because this is just the beginning of the end as we know it. I wouldn't be surprised if they had some liberal federal judge in the wings waiting to rule the law unconstitutional.

It is OK for Obama to disregard the constitution when it benefits his agenda but he then claims racial profiling of Arizona's law is unconstitutional. What crap.

This is the most outrageous act of bigotry and corruption to date. This has got to stop. The recklessness of this administration should have every citizen in the country upset, unless you are an illegal immigrant. But if you are an illegal, you should be worried because the reason you came here is going away and fast.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer created a legal defense fund to fight the Federal Government. Her office says Brewer already has received about $10,000 in unsolicited donations from more than 40 states.

To contribute to the fund, contact her office for instructions.
The Honorable Jan Brewer

The Federal Government, Obama, Holder et all have got to be stopped. Help.

Mr. Perks, if you are going to accuse the Obama administration of disregarding the constitution, please provide some examples to back up your claim.

Cap-and-trade; health care reform; card check; the collapsing dollar; bailouts; stimulus bills; "cash for clunkers"; 38 Czars... Where do I start?

Those aren't examples. You're just naming things.

This is how Brian and his crowd work.

They have no factual information, just opinionated talking points. He didn't explain how the constitution was disregarded, he named things he didn't like without citing how they went against the constitution.

It's the same thing as the people who are just anticipating problems.

"He's gonna take our guns!" No changes to gun legislation "He's waiting for the right time to take our guns!"

"Health Care is bankrupting this country and unfair to tax payers!" It hasn't actually gone into effect yet. "Health Care is surely going to doom this country!"

"Obama is a Nazi and is turning our country into a socialistic German regime!" Our country is nothing like Germany during that time. "The people in Germany didn't see it coming either! Just wait and see what happens!"

They base their arguments on talking points, speculation and hearsay. Not facts.

The key part of their argument is them telling you that you're "sipping the kool aid" or "too blind to see the truth."

Acting as if they are some kind of enlightened prophets conveniently allows them to manipulate any scenario into their favor, all they have to do is keep insinuating that their apocolypic prophecies are coming and we're stupid for not seeing it.

You make me sick Brian, there are so many people on the internet who write about similair topics in a vastly superior manner.

You're a one trick pony. A pony that somebody should take into the field and put out of its misery.

May I suggest that if "there are so many people on the internet who write about similair topics in a vastly superior manner" that you read them and maybe learn something and don't bother to read mine.

Instead of reading my blog, why don't you just "deem it read."

Brian,

Just when I thought you possibly get any worse, you refute my points by encouraging me to NOT read your blog.

The reason anybody would bother reading this drivel is the same reason people stop to look at a train wreck.
